  Largest Genome Ever Sequenced - and it's 82% Junk

  by developing new techniques, a team of scientists led by david neale at the university of california have succeeded in sequencing the genome of the loblolly pine pinus taeda.. the genome is 16 billion base pairs long - 7 times larger than the human genome.

  so why does it take so much dna to make a tree?

  well it turns out it doesn't.. the new sequence confirmed that the loblolly genome is so large because it is crammed full of invasive dna elements that copied themselves around the genome.

  Perhaps because it is her birthday Pippi's pop will purchase a pretty porpoise pendant displayed at Porgy's emporium on Pinkerd place. Pippi has had a penchant for porpoises and other sea mammals for the past three years after joining the periwinkle pod club of which everyone knows she is a proud member due to the fact that she displays the periwinkle pod club pennant on her front porch.

  Morgan felt a chill go down his spine someone was skulking about his front porch trying to peer through the stained glass window on the door. As he lurked behind a piece of furniture he listened carefully to assess the situation he felt his stomach hit the floor as a piece of paper slid through the door.   Elena spent many weeks planning the grand opening of her art gallery in Berlin. Along with cider and beer she planned to serve pfeffernuse sprinkled with tertiary colored sugar to coordinate with her gallery's color palette. On opening day she was horrified when the cookies arrived with white powdered sugar. Furious Elena called the bakery only to find out that the baker was a purist who felt that to color the pfeffernuss was a sacrilege. Apparently, he had announced to his staff that this was a case in which he would abrogate his responsiblity to please the customer's ridiculous request .
